LANDMARK BUILDINGS FOR THE VISION 400 PROJECT:
Nicknamed the Jellyfish this suggestion is a response to Christer Johansson and the VISION 400 group to come up with ideas to visualize the harnessing of Nature’s free energy. The Jellyfish is a visitors center as well as an experience attraction aimed at showing how forces from water, waves and sun is made into useful sutainable energy for the city of Göteborg.

For the quiet corner of the garden, an outdoor livingroom space needs a sun. Design and crafting by Per Gyllenspetz.

ISE AB asked me to come up with ideas for a safe truck stop. The Swedish road authorities/Vägverket was the end customer. Trailers are currently involved in a high number of roadside thefts. This design is given a unique, practical and aesthetical shape easily guarded from any angle. The eliptical space also offers truckers easy forward parking and exiting as well as a social center court.

HOW IT’S DONE
Why are rooms square? Why do inner spaces have flat walls? A lot of practical reasons offcourse. But what about the feeling of being in the room? Well this second curved wall architectural project got custom made building members, this time out of lamminate wood. To enhance the spacial experience of this office design further, the entire wall was given a translucent multi color design. Imagine not feeling squared in…

FURNITURE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING:
Ordered by a discerning customer this bookshelf system had to meet a special criteria that bookshelves on the market do not offer; expose the books rather than making a furniture design statement. But show excellent engineering and detail design solutions that pleases the eye. Lightness in material choices – bare metal and offwhite enamel or glass combines well in the rythmical form repititions.
