CONCEPT:
Celeste Yachts asked for my cooperation in designing form and function for a low environmental impact day cruiser. The Swedish classic Pettersson designs, Riva boats and the V8 Speedster are the inspirational objects.

Looking over deck and interior arrangements while keeping the soul of this classic Sparkman & Stephens 47’ aluminium racer from 1970.

PROMOTIONAL CONCEPT 1:
Everyone at sea likes to follow the lines of a beautiful classic yacht. How does a present day contribution reveal, with the best of my own efforts? The inclusion of a solar cell strip along the railing has been sea proven for a decade. That solution becomes an attractive form feature that so well follows function. Polished brass porthole contours with a ”lift” in the lines and a varnished hardwood trim on the carefully drawn sheer line interact in a classic/modern style.

PROMOTIONAL CONCEPT 2:
OZ Marine products are all included here – a virtual 28’ concept to display the advantages of full-freeboard solar cell panels, electric motor/generator propeller charging, automatically ventilated bunks and interior and an automatic day/night, sea/shore energy system. And a lot more. OZ Independence II is the Porche of the seas.

PROMOTIONAL CONCEPT 3:
The NORDIC 365 is a scaled up year-around version of the OZ Independence II thinking.
